Shalini Bhalla is the author of India’s first book on the circular economy; editor of the Journal on Circularity with a focus on policy, innovation and research; and founder of the International Council for Circular Economy. She has represented India on multiple international platforms through her speeches and programs and writes for various Indian as well as international magazines. Passionate about circularity, she has been on circular economy committees of a government think-tank of India, Niti Aayog. Shalini has also been a part of several development programmes in association with the Government of India and state bodies. She is a member of the technical committee at ISO/TC 323. Working on various national and international projects, she is a true woman leader who dons multiple hats.
