Philipp is heading the newly established division within the Environmental & Natural Resources Department in the EIB Projects Directorate. His experience includes sustainable construction, energy and solid waste management. The division he heads consists of a JASPERS advisory team (Joint Assistance to Support Projects in European Regions) mainly based in Bucharest and Vienna, which gives independent expert advice for projects within the EU. The division also has a Luxembourg-based team delivering advisory, appraisal and implementation support within and outside Europe, with a focus on Africa and Latin America.
