Chris Whyte is a co-founder of the ACEN Foundation and director of five commercial companies working in the circular economy space. As a circular economy strategist with 30 years’ experience, his impact has created thousands of jobs across Africa and earned him 18 national and global awards. His primary focus is innovation: using waste to create value chains. This unlocks economic opportunities in energy, water, waste, agriculture, infrastructure, construction, mining, manufacturing and tourism, with positive impacts in health, education, the environment and social upliftment. He believes that a circular economy transition is the only path forward for Africa.
