Dilshod Sharifi is a Circular STEP national focal point and his role in facilitating international collaboration for achieving SDGs is remarkable. He is passionate about making Tajikistan a more economically developed, circular and sustainable country throughout his career. He constantly works on being updated on global trends and building his knowledge, including through attending training. He is fluent in English, French, Russian and Tajik. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, as previously he had a successful career as a professional tennis player. He holds a PhD in world economics from Tajik National University and an MBA and Bachelor’s in international studies from Francis Marion University, United States.
