Global knowledge and science co-operation for a circular economy

The transition from a linear to circular economy model is a global challenge. What kind of policies, actions and governance are needed to promote and implement co-operation and actions on a global scale? Is it possible to involve science for help in defining these?

The transition to a global circular economy framework will only be possible with global guidelines and policies based on knowledge and science, through collaboration of public and private sector stakeholders from different geoeconomic regions. This session will present a white paper that suggests ways to identify the pathway for this transition and how to connect the different stakeholder dimensions: governments, academia and industry.
