A new report on EU’s circular policies and their impacts on global value chains was discussed during WCEF2022 in Rwanda. The policy paper describes the rapid reform for a circular economy that the EU textile and plastics sectors are undergoing and studies, how producer countries can keep up.
The policy report was produced under the Switch to Circular Economy Value Chains, a project co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Finland, implemented by UNIDO, in collaboration with Chatham House, Circle Economy and the European Investment Bank.
